Virtual Y

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, YMCA Victoria is launching an online platform called Virtual Y to continue providing our products and services to young people and the communities we serve during this difficult time and beyond.

Virtual Y is being funded through a $1.6million grant from the Victorian Government. With 90% of YMCA’s business currently in hibernation due to the closures, including recreation facilities, camps and youth programs, Virtual Y will provide online support and connection in an interactive and accessible way.

With Virtual Y, YMCA participants, members and customers will have access to a suite of virtual fitness classes, the latest nutritional information, wellbeing programs, youth engagement sessions and family activities. The modules will be delivered via livestreams, tutorials and training sessions, challenges, competitions and interactive group sessions.
